The Shadow of the Land combines experimental film and audiovisual improvisation.

The film is based on an improvisation recorded on acoustic piano, synth and voice, augmented by effects processed in real time. The improvisation is both acoustic and digital.

Following this improvisation, the artist collected a large series of videos of landscapes in the Luberon. Using deformation tools, the artist hybridizes landscapes and self-portraits with organic distortions that paint a chimera between face and environment.
