Arbres à fleurs multiples
Video art, Sound, Installation / 2024
Arbres à fleurs multiples is a video installation featuring four “flower trees”: plant compositions imagined by Minh Lê Boutin. These trees embody both the experience of collecting in nature - specific to a flora and a season - and that of creating a composition.
Like fragile and ephemeral pieces, these trees question our relationship with the environment, the act of gathering, and the experience of composition.By integrating videos of flowering trees, distorted by artificial intelligence tools that generate movements, the artist amplifies our perception of shapes, textures and colors. In so doing, she explores the infinite plastic potential of nature. Through these digital deformations, Minh Lê Boutin translates poetic sensations, invisible and immaterial, evoking the beauty of organic movements.
The installation was presented at the Orion Tower, as part of the exhibition “Vivos voco: j'en appelle au vivant”, in October 2024.
